Thanx!

The P1519 means: Intake Manifold Runner Control Stuck Closed (Bank 2).

The P1151 means: Lack Of HO2S21 Switches - Sensor Indicates Lean.

Is the P1151 because of the IMRC not opening? It seems to me that it would cause a rich condition, not a lean one. What do you think?

Does anyone know why my vehicle would be showing a code P1151? Could it have been a blip in the system at one point or something?

Year, Make, Model, Engine, and Mileage, please....

Could be a number of things.
IMRC is only on a V6, and with enough mileage you can have carbon buildup
in the Lower Intake Manifold, that is holding the secondaries closed.

Haha, yea, thanx horseydug! Anyway, I have 58k miles. I do agree that the intake is probibly gummed up, I will take care of that eventualy, but I know for a fact that the secondaries aren't "stuck" closed.

When the IMRC takes a big ol' crap on me, the car jerkes back and forth as the secondaries are fluttering open and closed for about 5 seconds or so (doesn't matter if I'm on the throttle hard or not as long as I am in the RPM band of where they open normaly), then the car is slowwwwwwwwww as all hell because the IMRC gives up.

I know that my IMRC is shot, so I need a new one (is Bill Jenkins back yet!?!?!), but what I am wondering is the other code. I have only gotten this code since my IMRC has been acting stupid. Do you think it's just a radical reading?

Is this why my car smells like a carton of rotten eggs!!!!!!!!!????????????? I am getting real tired of the fart smell!!!

If the sensor indicates lean but you are getting a sulfer/rotten egg smell, your sensor is probably fading/dying. The sensor says lean, and the PCM adds more fuel so you end up running rich. Some unburnt fuel is probably making it to the cats causing the smell.

So then maybe these two things happening are a coincidence afterall. I was thinking (and hoping because I don't feel like getting a new O2 sensor) that the stupid IMRC was screwing with the O2's so much that it just spiked and gave it that reading.

Does anyone know what O2 voltages are supposed to be? I have a heavy duity scanner and can read all kinds of stuff in real-time, but I don't know what voltage range the O2's are supposed to be in.
