When I take turns and accelerate with my 99 SVT, I get a noticeable clunk/clikcing noise from the D/S front. Took it to Tire Kingdom and they said the CV joints look fine, suggested that the sway bar stabilizing linkage could be causing the issue. Would this make a clunking noise or just wear out and cause some slop in the suspension?

have ford check your coil springs
both mine broke 2 weeks ago , both replaced under a recall issue

Yeah, I've heard about that here on CEG. I had the tech at Tire Kingdom check them over and he said they look fine. What were your symptoms?

clunking and funning pinging noises like a spring winding up and letting go when they broken ones rubbed
bumps made a horrible CLUNK like it was bottoming out all the time
you cant see the top half of the spring, i looked at mine and they looked fine, soon as the ford guy heard it he know what it was
sure enough when they came out both were broken

This does not help much, but I just noticed mine doing the same thing, it sounds like a little pop or clunk when I turn the wheels going under like 5 mph or so. It's almost the same sound I heard from my friend's Jetta after he got neuspeed springs put on. I don't know if it's because i put on my 17s or not but I'm also curious as to what it is.

i have the same problem.....
Good enought reason to get G/c's and Koni's for me.... so thats what i am doing... hahaha

So this makes what, 7? I think I am having the same problems. When I hit a bump under mild braking or coming out of braking. It is not like a loud clunk noise. Just some slight thunk like two pieces of metal contacting..

my tour makes alot of noise over bumps. it sounds like the whole front end is loose and rattling, could this be because of broken springs?

Mine only makes noise on turns under acceleration. Straight line and over bumps no noise. Although, when I do turn over railroad tracks, there is quite a bit of comotion in the front end. If these stabilizer links don't do the trick, I'll have someone (not sure if it's going to be Ford, the local dealer is a freakin moroon). You mentioned something about a recall issue??? I haven't received any notification. Is this an offical recall? Thanks for all your help.

Just got off the phone with Tire Kingdom, stabilizer linkage wasn't it. Now they think the axel needs to be replaced (not sure which part of it exactly, but needs atleast 3 more hours in the shop). I told the tech yesterday that I could feel a pop in the peddle when this happened, apparently he wasn't listening to me because apparently that is exactly what happens with a bad axel: click, clunck, pop. That really sucks....
