Take it from me the technicians at dealerships make most of there money these days with a pen, or the keyboard in front of them, Ive worked for several chevy dealerships and a honda dealership, its so easy to add diagnostic time and there are so many procedures for the same thing. Thats why I do all my work myself, no warranty but at least I know im not getting screwed. You never kno with those guys. but a word of advice always ask the tech doin work on your car how many years he has been in the job, you can figure allot by that and ask if he has any ASE's or certifications.

I had the same code and replaced the sensor by the radiator before the pre-cat! It was a bugger disconnecting the wiring harness but I was able to loosen the O2 sensor with a 22 mm wrench and then finished it off with a stubby 7/8 wrench! The part cost $60 at Advanced Auto! Remember to do it when the engine is warm!
