If you ever thought about making your own exhaust or are planning this is a pretty good buy. Or if you have car that could use these. His feed back looks pretty good. Was jsut surfing around found this thought i would share with you all.

What are glasspacks? I was always under the impression that they gave a little performance, but were more for the sound. Liking the idea of having a sleeper, I never looked at them. Educate Me

Glass packs are mufflers packed with fiberglass. Not resined fiber galss but just the fibers. They were in the old days a way around emssions. The fiber glass would burn out when they got hot leaving a straight pipe. However the was muffler on it. While be it not working but it was there so it was legal. Today the technology is much better. I dont think they packed with fiber glass anymore but if they are it burns out muc much slower like a period of a 2 or 3 years VS. the first time you heated them up back in the day.
Basically they are a low restriction nmuffler letting more exhaust through and packed with fiber glass to give mean tone. These are hush pipes. A fairly decent manufacture. they are the Knock Off versions Smitty's and they are lot quiter than 90% of the Glass packs out there. They give nice deep tone (on a V8 anyway) and are suposed to last a decent amount of time.
