It's not about that. I'm gonna quote Moe here... Read the 1st sentence especially...

There comes a point in your life where the "my car is faster than your car attitude" just doesn't cut it any more. Now that I'm a "little" older, my priorities have changed.

Meaning we want to get away from the boy-racer image that currently revolves around us. I don't want to street race anymore, I have no desire to go to the drag strip with my daily driver anymore... I just want to go to work w/out rattles, w/out worrying my worrying about my water pump, without the Honda boys revving their motor, and etc.

Like it or not, the SRT4 is like an CSVT in many ways. It's based on a commuter car, but built for a performance crowd.

This is exactly correct, and it's time to UPGRADE. In ATL's case, he wanted to upgrade through SPEED. In my, Moe's, and Antonio's case, we want to upgrade through luxury, comfort, SERVICE and etc...

Status is the last thing on my mind (can't speak for Antonio or Moe here), sure, it's not gonna hurt telling someone I drive a BMW, but that's not the point. It's all in what you're looking for. Granted, a new Altima will be faster than a 328 and hell, it'll run right up there with a E36 M3, but am I an Altima driver? Hell no.

It's all in what you're looking for, different strokes for different folks.
