Actually, IIRC all that wasn't working too well in the first place. Seth has had a whole lot of trouble with this car. It stinks that this is how it finally went out.  If I'm gonna scavange some parts, I'd get the side skirts, rear bumper, and exhaust. Now, I don't know about the UIM/LIM/TB stuff-the last time I talked to him at the track he said his secondaries weren't opening, so I don't know which parts would be affected by that. I think that would be the LIM being screwy, but I'm not sure.  Anyway, Seth-did the airbags go off? If they did, then it's a very good chance the car is totalled.

surprisingly no the air bags didnt come out which i think they shouldve eric if u want to see the car it is at wicks towing company off of peerless ave which is off of cherokee blvd. but i dont know if they do total it if i can take anything off of it without buying the car back which i hope they total it so i can get something else its been wrecked twice now by me and i just dont want it anymore once i wreck it i dont want it anymore

I wouldn't mind taking a look at it. I'll keep that in mind. The garage that held my car and my insurance co. said "sure, rip out whatever is yours", so I took out just aftermarket stuff. If they let you take stuff out, gimme a call, I'll bring my truck down there and we'll strip it!

thats cool thanx man but the car is being moved tomorrow to a different lot and the tow truck driver said there hasnt been anyone there to look at it and when they move it that soon w/out looking at it that usually means it is totaled so i am hopeing for the best

Really? Dude, that's right by my house. I've bought 4 cars from them....well...2 of 'em are/were mine, the other two are my parents cars. Yeah, I'll swing in there and take a look at it. Maybe a part of two might accidently fall off and land in my trunk...  But are they really gonna try to fix it?

they estimated the damage at only $4,300 but i think they are full of it but they lost the key to it so they cant do anything until they find the key then i told them to start it and listen to it it is knocking and rattling real bad and that is y i want them to total it or but a new motor in it but all that happened in the wreck so thay have to do something w/ it

So it's running worse than before? Geez, if you can prove that's from the wreck, they really should total it. Lost the key, huh? Yep, I love Marshall Mize!  Oh, BTW, I couldn't stop to look at it today, it kinda started pouring cats and dogs right as I left work.

hey eric i went to pick up my car today it looked good but i drove it out of the parking lot and before i got to pep boys it died 4 times and it is knock and oingin and all kinds of crap took it back to ford and they are supposed to fix it which means hopefully a new motor  which i tried to tell them before they fixed that there was something really wrong w/ the motor but they wouldnt listen to me so now i have to wait and see what they wanna do i told them they shouldve totalled it in the first place but they wouldnt listen to me i have the recipt it cost almost $5000 to fix it not conting on what they have to do to it now
