Hey all - As I was trying to leave a parking lot this morning some dumb f*$k comes whipping around the corner, causing me to swerve out of the way and catch my passenger side skirt on one of those giant freakin' "decorative rocks". mad The retaining screw got ripped out of the hole and the whole back quarter of the skirt is all scratched to hell. It looks like crap.

Does anyone know of any good way to get the scratches out of the plastic and polish it up nicely? I know it'll never look like new, but I'd like to make it as non-noticable as possible. The 'tour is black.

Assuming the plastic polishes up nicely, should I end up painting the whole skirt, or would it be easier to try and lightly coat only the scratched area?

Thanks all for your input!

how deep are the scratches?
if thy are not too deep then use a touch-up kit( you can get that at any auto store) and then buff the skirt
