Someone else revived the topic not me! I didn't flame I only stated the truth. Pete was screwed out of over $1K. Just because QS had personal problems doesn't mean others should pay for them. Had he owned up to the fact that he f$%^ed up and refunded Pete's money it wouldn't have been an issue. If you sell a product you should stand behind it, he didn't!
Devious sold me a 2 license plate frames. They never arrived but I willingly agreed to wait a couple months hoping they would show up in the mail. Instead of saying screw you the mail lost them not me. My new frames were shipped out this week. He stood behind the deliverey and satisfaction of a $58 order. If I'm spending $1k on something I would expect much more.
BTW Pete wasn't the only who reported spotted lenses!

My lights are leaking too. . .I think it's inevitable with these lights, I've done extensive drying and resealing and have figured out the problem, KNOCK ON WOOD.
The actual projectors do not really fit perfectly within the housing. There is approx a 1-3mm gap in random spots when the housing was resealed. Milan obviously did as much work as he could do to reseal them, but what I've found is that you need to seal ALL OF IT, I can post pics, but I used clear silicone that melts at 400C (so I should be safe), and went ALL AROUND the housing in areas that could potentially leak. So far, two bad rain storms and no problems. Unfortunately, the spotting on the inside from the condensation is bad.
Dion did his lenses and he had problems too.
His workmanship when it comes to the LEAKING isn't in question. It's the dirt that was left in there, and there was a significant amount in Pete's case, and that issue just got out of hand because Milan tried correcting the problem, screwed it up worse, and didn't refund Pete. The leaking is a natural conssequence of shoving in 2 huge projectors into a housing that isn't LONG enough to git them. . .

He started it, what, are we in third grade? The point is that it didn't need to be brought up again. No one made you start beating a dead horse again. We've all seen the arguments revived over and over, what good could come from you starting it again?

Most of what I wanted to say has been already said. Pete and I have dropped it, so why don't you do the same.
And besides, just because Pete and I had a problem doesn't mean that people should not admire my car...

Pete hasn't dropped it! Have you looked at his sig lately. He just knows that continuing with a public request for his money will end up with him being the bad guy. The obvious focus of this thread is your head lights! He's accepted that his money's gone and his opinion of your bussiness ethics is far from stellar. But, you got your money, right!

Damn this post is getting crazy, and I thought the guy who called Spatts Acura "rice" was long (over 780 views the last time I checked ) I really need to chime in here, once and for all, this way I've spoke my peace. I too have the MM quad projectors w/ HIDs and I haven't had any problems with mine leaking (KNOCK ON WOOD AS I TYPE THIS) The quality of my lights is great and has been commented on by many local CEG-ers, so thats that The only thing mine do is fog up a bit when I've washed the car in the early spring and late fall, thats it and haven't gotten any of the spots, or atleast I haven't noticed them. I frequent a touch-free car wash pretty often (big surprise, right ) and haven't had ANY leakes what-so-ever, again KNOCK ON WOOD. As far as the Pete vs. Milan thing, well I think Milan is a good enough guy to admit a problem and correct it, maybe he'll do it at SZ04'. This would be the perfect venue to let by gones be by gones and show what kind of guy he really is because everyone makes mistakes and everyone lives in glasshouses, think about it. Heres a close-up of one of my lights taken 12-1-03
In closing I'd like to say this post was all of my own doing, nobody has asked me to do this, its all me and I don't expect to be questioned about it either. I think I have enough of a reputation here in the CEG selling my dead pedals (not on the same scale as the MM quads ofcoarse) that warrents me to chime in, so thank you for letting me get in my .02 cents worth.

This thread won't die.......
Gotta say again, great job on your car Milan. I love how your headlights match your wheels! Very clean!
Sealing issues are or can be a PITA with these HL housings. I know I had to take my HL's out twice to re-seal them to keep moisture out. But that comes with the territory of a customized OEM hallogen housings that are cut open to have projectors installed into them. I realise that because I made my set myself, but those who threw money at someone to do it for them have no idea what the process is like.
As of late I have made a few poorly choosen comments about Milan not having good quality of work.....which is incorrect from what I have seen (only online thus far). Sealing the HL's are a PITA, and that shouldn't make his work crappy, it's just part of a process that is very hard to weed out! My HL's took a few months before one fogged up, and few months after that both of them fogged up. I fix that crap as it pops up......
