I just recently noticed the rear end of my 98 2.5L SE (58K) making a squeaking noise whenever the rear end goes up and down. Sounds like it's coming from a shock but was wondering if there are any lube points in the rear chassis/suspension. Any advise on how to troubleshoot/correct would be appreciated as it's very annoying!

There are no lube points per se.

Spray several of the bushings at a time with white lithium grease. As it works in, it will temporarily quiet the squeak if it was coming from a bushing. Prime candidate would be the sway bar to body bushings especially if they were replaced with poly bushings.

If you can duplicate the noise by just pushing down on the car, it should be easy to isolate the source with the help of a friend.
