On some cars yes grounding does help. Mitsubishi's are a prime example being that their ignition system sucks. I've heard of some gaining as much as 14hp and seen some gain as much as 7hp. On a Duratec however, I'm not so sure. I've never grounded the hell out of my car and run it. It's easy enough to do though.
