I like the generation of eclipses before this one alot better...slammed with some wheels and a fart pipe it looks real tight. your car still has potential though, I got my ass handed to me by a V6 one time...I thought it was hilarious. well I hope it was a v6...better have been  anyway, not a bad car though...I personally wouldn't mind having a Lancer or Eclipse

I just find it funny that someone who totally thinks nothing of the Contour SVT's performance capabilities (and expresses them on a contour enthusiast board, no less) can claim his stinker 'I wish I was a v6 mustang' mitsubishi eclipse has 'alot of balls.' Bring your fancy keyless entry to the twisties or the track and we'll see whose car has balls.
Usually I wouldnt bag on someone, but if you're gonna make the effort to bag on the CSVT in a threat titled 'I love my CSVT' then i'm gonna tell you what I think of your car, too.

Haha Zetec of course you like the ricer eclipse/fart pipe combo  I dont like the gen eclipse before the current becaues its almost the default ricer car.

Zetec , this is how you do an Eclipse , black , no spoiler. PS- Of the about 50-100 post 99 Eclipses i looked at 3!! didnt have a spoiler. :-/ PS- Imagine the I-4 as a V-6 My Kinda Eclipse

it had to be,, a I4 eclipse will probably get jump on you (or atleast me and my atx) but if both rolling, it's easy for the contour to pull on the eclipse.

i have beat 4 cyl non turbo eclipses many times on the track, it just depends on the driver. but ususally i can pull on them by about 5 feet.
EDIT: thats 5 feet from their front bumper!

Eventually, someone with banning powers is just going to get tired of your nonsense and hit the magic button.
Not sure what has held me back ... maybe I'm getting mellow in my old age. Or maybe I just like to see 10 posts bashing him for every dumb post he makes. Which is nearly every one when it comes down to it.
That said, I love the looks of the new Eclipses. I'll never be fond of the "power" of any N/A 4 banger (no offense to the Zetec guys here). I've had two, and though I loved both cars (78 VW Dasher and 89 Isuzu Trooper) I never in a million years would say they had any "balls". That's just silly.
