I agree with the optimizer being rather useless on a MAF that supposedly was made to fool the ECU with the 24# injectors. My assumption on your tuning with the MAF is that you haven't posted any valid reason as to why you think it is a bad MAF. Even with the correct MAF in the car, it will run rich or lean at certain points on the dyno because the MAF will not correct the full fuel curve over the entire RPM range for larger injectors.
