Loose orange part by passenger side firewall?? #637439 05/17/03 03:35 AM

OP KSJayhawk Newbie K Joined: Mar 2003 Posts: 7 Olathe, KS	I found a loose orage part by firewall. It is aprox. 3/4" by 4" long and looks like a cover or plug to something. If anyone can help id where it goes please let me know. I am unfamiliar with engine compartment. I have only owned it for a month or so and decided to change oil after a few hundred miles. Don't know when last one was. It sure is tight compared to the Expedition. Ray 2000 Black SVT, #862/2150 Bone Stock (so far...)

It soulds like a cap that may have been over a hose during shipping of the part before it was installed in the car and then dropped and left behind. Possibly an A/C hose. As long as nothing that operates the engine, brakes or steering falls off you will be fine. Oh, don't loose any tranny or axle bit either.
