ok i just found out that my stepdad has everything to do powder coating. he mainly uses it to do some of his tools and the frame on one of his project cars. i was thinking of accenting my engine bay in yellow (to complient the amazon green). is yellow even available to powder coat? and does anyone have any pics of powder coated upper manifolds cause i wanna see how it looks.

you can pretty much get an color virtually known to man. of course, you have to make sure he has that color powder.
i wanna do my engine bay, "almost chrome."

ok now i have to go change my pants
damn those look sweet. that first one looks more painted rather than actual powder coating like the second one?
but now that i think of it, with yellow, that's gonna be too loud. i saw somebody's tour and the color looked almost chalky or something?
i don't know how he's gonna do it, if it turns out aight, i'll ask him if i can get a CEG discount!!

I'd like to be the first to say that yellow doesent match green wonderfully. I think you would be better trying to copy the exterior color, or the color of your rims, too many colors doesent tie the car together well imo.

As a green SVT owner I personally don't think yellow would match that well either. However, I've had a hard time thinking of a color for the engine bay that would match. I've got mangnecor plug wires which are red, but I don't really want a red engine bay because then I'd have a christmas car.
But hey, go for yellow and if it looks good I'll copy you :-)

has anyone played midnight club street racing II? cause the 3rd car you get kinda resembles an SVT(at least in my opinion cause i didn't have a tour at the time)!! well it was the dark green and it had yellow calipers and it looked really good and i thought that yellow might accent it pretty nicely! what other colors are easy to get yer hands on to details engines. cause i've seen the ford 9 mm wires in blue, black, red and i think one more. basically i want to detail my engine bay but don't know what colors i should even consider!
