You are getting confused. There were 3 crews; Morpheus, Naobi, and Captain Saroualfkjsdlsd (I do not remember). Naobi completed her objective; disabling the main power plant. Captain Saroualskhflskdhf was supposed to disable the secondary power, but that is when their ship blew up and they fell.

Then Morpheus had his ship blown up, so now they are on Naobi's.

just realized why the cop cars could gain on the motorcyle - cause they're in the matrix. you play by the agents' rules in the matrix. im starting to like this movie more and more.

now officially a troll, i guess. used to have a black 96 SE, until it broke down one too many times. now I'm hunting for a motorycle.

That must explain how they could bust a sharp 180 in a big rig in the middle of the highway without it flipping over.

I think what helped them catch up with her in addition to having perfect driving skills was that she was dodging traffic in the middle lanes of the highway while the agents were gunning it straight down the emergency lane. One part I thought was pretty cool was when Trinity called to download hotwiring instructions for the bike and the key maker pulled out a key as if to say I got this.

The conversation between the counselor and Neo I took to be more like the counselor saying it's ironic that the machines are trying to destroy us while at the same time we need them to exist. Neo's counterpoint that they could control those machines didn't seem to phase the counselor, and even when Neo kinda asked him what's your point he still basically repeated himself. That made me kinda cautious of his purpose and that whole dialogue as well.

Honestly, I thought the movie did not live it up to all the hype. Here are my thoughts.
1. There is only one Matrix.
2. The sentinals DID NOT reach Zion. There was a battle fought in some access point. That is where the human "Agent Smith" used the EMP blast against the humans defenders.
3. It seems that Morphoeus skills have gotten weaker since the first film. He was barely able to dispatch that weak ass agent. I see a problem here.

Now I hate America? That is a new one to me.

Saw it last night and I'm in line with your thinking on this, Rara. I can't add too much to your discourse here, except to explain it as a b*st*rdization of Plato's "Allegory of the Cave". There exists the Matrix, then there exists a similar construct, which is known to those "outside" of the Matrix as the "real world". Both are programmed realities that balance each other out after a fashion. How else could Neo and ex-Agent Smith affect things in both constructs otherwise, if one was the REAL "real world"...

The re-emergence of the spoon said a LOT to me as well. The phrase "there is no spoon" immediately entered my mind when Neo was presented the gift of the spoon. It flat-out told me that the possibility exists that the "real world" isn't as real as those "outside" the Matrix would like to believe. That one snippet of a scene really caught my attention. Too many things started compounding on top of this, which most have already been discussed.

Although a bit jumbled and awkward in places, I really enjoyed "Reloaded". How often does a movie leave so much open for discussion and how many times can you relate a film to a parable in ancient philosophy?

Cool as hell in my book.

At first I thought that too but if remember that Morpheus told Neo in the first Matrix, everyone that has stood against an Agent died. I expected Morpheus to be better than he was, but just as he kept getting better so did the agents and remember they were upgrades. Every time Neo or Trinity got in trouble it was Neo that saved them.

I don't see morpheous as that kind of figure as neo is.. neo is just a badass and kicks everyones ass... morpheous has changed from being that in the first movie (minus altercations with the agents) to more of an inspirational leader kind of guy... it was kind of sweet when he was speaking in front of that huge crowd in the caves.. but then that rave scene left me scratching my head.. why..

I sawy the same tan G.P. go by twice. Cars were supplied by GM for sure. I look at it this way. Everyone in the Matrix is brainwashed into thinking GM builds great cars.
