I believe that they were all given a false sense of hope also. Neo became a threat again after he saved Trinity because the machines knew he could not get there in time to save her life, but he did. Also was anyone totally confused when Neo stopped the sentinals(i think thats what they called)? Is all of the "real world" and Zion really part of the matrix?

hey this is not directed to u, i just saw this pop up a few times from various critics and it reminded me...
how is there NO plot in this movie? i see a plot...clearly.
ok so it's not Casablanca or Gone with the wind.
anyway...
with Neo stopping the sentinels in the "real world", it just boosted the movie that much more for me. when i saw the first one he was all powerful, but not in the real world..he was just a regular joe shmo. However in this movie, it came as a surprise to the audience that it seemed he had some sort of control outside of the Matrix. How or why i do not know, but i do have my speculations. He is ofcourse partly a machine...although not in the true meaning of it. It seems he might be connected to the system somehow outside of the Matrix... and if the Real world is yet another Matrix...ill be damned.

The part with the architect was probably the most critical part of the movie... The point of the architect was to use many big words and not say anything at all.. he kept contradicting himself just to confuse neo. A couple things that I don't understand is.. I know that the machines were digging.. and that Zion was going to put up a resistance at a critical juncture or "pipe" I think they called it. Neo picked the door to save trinity... so Zion was suppose to fall.. but did it? I know that "someone" pulled the EMP before it was time and screwed all the ships... (damn judas) but did Zion completely fall? they said something about the machines still digging... was it that everyone died at the resistance but Zion is still there.. I became lost...
Also.. what happened to Tank.. he seemed alright in the 1st one after he got shot then all of a sudden he was dead.. thanks for letting me know he died before links chick said it...

I know Link said he made a promise to Dozer but nothing about Tank right? I thought that odd myself. They just talked about the lost 2.

well she said "we lost 2 brothers.. I don't want to lose another.." I just assumed that tank died.. but it is kind of weak that they just went off and killed him without telling us.. they are on the ship in the beginning and I am like "where is tank?" I didn't like that too much.
Oh and reply to someones star wars comment.. when they are meeting with the concil (wow I can't spell) I was like "this reminds me of star wars." creepy...

While Neo's face reflected genuine confusion, (We are talking about Keanu Reeves here) I do not recall the architect being hard to understand. Whether or not he spoke the truth is another matter.

I do not believe Zion fell. I believe the ships put up a fight outside Zion, and they were the ones that were destroyed. The machines have still not reached Zion yet.
