2001 stangs have bit more power than 2000 stangs and more than 2002+ stangs, not sure why ford did it but they do. And i've seen 00 w/ drop-in k&n vs. 01 and the 01 wins so that power does make a difference. and hector you've beaten v6 mustangs and camaros because they're slow, and if you mean off the track then it makes more sense. the ones you've beaten on track probably just don't launch good (even in ATX) and then you can kill them once you get going.
