His statement is no assurance of axle strength when comparing it to your setup.

You are talking 2 completely different animals.

At best a strong NA 2.5L is putting out around 160-170 FWTQ compared to a turbo's 230-270 FWTQ. Not even remotely in the same ball park!

Rick from Torsen stated the stock axles break at ~15% more torque then the stock diff can handle. That's not saying much for their strength!

I'd be getting upgraded axles before I spent a penny on new rubber.
