I'm running 93 octane daily.... I do have the SF intercooler.... Keith/Chris sent me out the hottest program(timing wise) to date due to the daily availability of 93 here in Florida. But after a few weeks of driving and a turn of the boost controller, I found that 7psi with my current chip is just to much. I attempted to tune it in with my Apex'i, but no luck, plus I would rather have a good base tune in the chip as a precautionary device. Chris has already begun working on a new timing curve that supported 240whp at 6.5 psi.....I can live with that! I previously turned 230 on 5 psi, so I may be missing a couple of whp due to the couple degrees less timing, but it will be able to support more boost. I will be purchasing drag radials, and I will turn the boost up marginally, and periodically.. Also, one cannnot compare system to system by psi levels, as different compressors have differnet CFM at the same psi setting. For instance: 5psi on my T-28, may have a similiar flow rate to a 16g at 15psi. So the Vortech 10psi, and the SF T-28 5 psi are "apples to oranges". I do commend those that have run well on nitrous, but what happens when you don't have a fill station? I continuously run strong, while you fall back in the pack....Brian Earl Spilner....you serial killer from Arizona! J/K

Awesome! That wasnt even your best trap time of the night, so if you had stuck it out a few more runs I bet you would have seen even lower 13s. Impressive too considering the temp and humidity. Since some of us dont look at the FI section or anything, can you give us breakdown of what the setup is exactly and approximate cost?

wow that is seriously very quick. Congrats on the nice times! Not bad for a FWD car that wasn't madeto be fast straight line, huh? I could see low 13 sec flat, possibly a 12 sec in the future with more boost, drag radials, and more practice. Some pretty darn good launches as well! Congrats and live it up. GO NOW AND SPEND SOME MORE OF YOUR MONEY AND PUT UP BETTER NUMBERS TO MAKE ME EVEN MORE JEALOUS!

Are you just not putting in the Grizzly Clutch? If so, send it back and get a SPEC. I had the Grizzly and after 8 days of having my 3L Hybrid the Clutch Disc came apart and one of the springs came out. It's basically a stock clutch which will not hold that power.

I thought that I had read something about Street Flight offering a flip chip, if they do I would think you would want to keep your present program for the track and something with less timing for the street. When you arrive at the track just make sure that your low fuel light is on and buy 2-3 gallons of race fuel and crank up the boost to 10 psi.

Are you sure the Cobra was spraying? (BTW there was no 2000 Cobra's) They run 13.5 stock. It could've been a "poser" GT with a Cobra body kit. They push 272 HP at the wheels and weigh about 3400 pounds.
