Tires are Nitto NT-450...not superior in straight line traction IMHO, but it's what I have as of now. The Wrx/EVO guys were very impressed with the times based on drivetrain config./amount of boost.

The RSX owner stated is best to date was a 14.1 with a 2.1 60'. His mods included i/e, and the Hondata4, which supposedly makes those cars scream! There is a guy who has run 13.7 with i/e/Hondata on www.ClubRSX.com. Gotta frequent the competitions boards to see what there up to....ya' know?

It ain't the tires man, its a 5psi "2.5L" (as in NOT 3.0L) turbo!

The car is in my opinion capable of faster at this psi setting, yet the tires will not support a harder launch or more power. I wanted to verify that while making good power(230/213)that a good run was in order. The car "is" capable of being nasty quick at the strip...just add 3-4 more psi, and a set a drag radials(BF G-Force)a better run can and in my case "hopefully" will follow. As of now, Chris is working on a new timing map to support more boost without the ping! I'm looking into 225/45/17 BF G-Force DR. Can you say sticky?

I definitely like that idea! I just look at your time with a 13.8 and my time with a 14.3 yet very similar trapp speeds. Then I shake my head and know that with my trans upgrades I'll be trying once again.

He was probably only 5 tenth quicker in shifting   That a SHORT amount of time! Oh make sure if you going to shift like lightning that you get the "post 2000 Focus shift tower" If you don't you'll end up with a huge bill and a broken tranny!
