Don't take it personally, I know he didn't mean anything by it. I know where he's coming from though... a lot of questions are asked and answered on a weekly basis, and some, like spark plug questions, often times turn into a flame war about which overpriced aftermarket product is or isn't the best. Some people get really defensive when you tell them that the $15/apiece spark plugs they put in their car weren't meant for their engine and will eventually cause them problems.

I know this firsthand... I had to change my spark plugs twice last summer. Fortunately I got the crappy ones for cheap
