IT is right but remember the VCT on the Contour is on the exhaust cam for emissions....and the VCT on the SVT Focus is on the intake cam for performance.

now I talked to ford racing and they said that the focus performance heads and some other parts would not work on my 98+ engine,I don't see why not since right before he told me no he told me the blocks in the focus and contour were identical. can anyone explain the difference thyen and why it won't fit?
99 ATX Contour 130k w/ a 21k tranny freshly installed

ok but isn't the VCT part of the head? and if so since i'm replacing the head wouldn't that get rid of the VCT?

oh so it'sa part of the computer programming too then? so if I just change out the heads will the computer freak out?

what if it was a non vct like from a 96-97? would it work then? I am planning on building up a block as well, once I find one around.
