ok...maybe it's me in denial...but this movie kicked ass!!
what were u expecting? it's no worse than the first 1... answers some of the questions i had after seein the first 1...and poses new questions im dyinmg to find out. Granted the CGI with the 100's of Smith's at times reminded me of the Blade II fight sequence with the ninja-like vampires...
but never the less i still loved that fight scence...as did the whole theatre...the audience reactions alone were worth it to go see the movie (im a people person!)
great movie...AWESOME movie... another hit from the brothers!

No, I am referring to Neo's character. In that fight scene, you can CLEARLY see where he goes from Keanu Reeves to CGI Neo. The face and trenchcoat texture fades, it starts to look fairly cartoony. Not saying it was bad CGI, but the abrubt changes took away from the scene.

yah..lol that's what i meant i was agreein with u on that scene! lol...cuz in blade 2...it looked cartoony too... i just don't think they have the technology yet ...or maybe it's too time consuming and expensive, to make it look perfect. however im a fanatic about this movie...that i forgave them on this matter

I think it is kind of funny that like half of the people who saw it thought it was a great movie and the other half thought it sucked. I thought it was totally an awesome movie. Sure it wasn't as "shocking" as the first one since people were kind of expecting to be wowed by this one but I still think it was well worth the money. I thought it didn't have any of the usual problems of the second movie in a trillogy. There is a lot of story to get through but they include a good amount of action to keep things moving.

Just got home. I thought it was pretty sweet. I don't know what more you could ask for. We need to start a thread for ppl that have seen it to discuss it. I'll probably go again because of the "African American" that couldn't put his phone down. I've never been so pissed in my life.

Maybe because it was new to you. A sequel is never going to be the original. Ppl never seem to understand.

saw it,,, not that good, even my friend that was all hyped up to see it didn't like it too much. the effects were of course cool though. all i can say is, i think it would be cool in the next one if neo can't save the "world" , i don't really know what stuff is called in matrix, is it the matrix or zion or world or mcdonald's play land?

i saw it tonight and actually thought it was better than the first one! Special effects were AWESOME!!!! Fight scenes were better than the first too. Suspense is what made this movie so great in my opinion! Cant really elaborate any more on that because I dont want to ruin it for the ones that havent seen it, but I will say this. Were the dreams Neo having going to actually happen? Okay enough said. Go see it yourself. my .02
