After searching for a while, I decided to post just to make sure: if I wanted to replace my mushy 1998 GL suspension with an SVT suspension (springs and struts,) the swap would be simple, right? I found questions about swapping suspension to sport models and pre-98s, but nothing about a post 98 Gl - I;m assuming its even easier. And I'm assuming the gain in handling would be well worth it? All opinions appreciated, thanks

yes.

I wouldn't dare calling front suspension job on any contour
'simple', but for most of your questions the answer is yes.

yeah it's pretty easy, if you're doing springs and struts it's same as doing swap on pre98. rear is easy and once you figure out the front, then it's easy to. it's just figuring it out can be hard for the first time.

<first time, total of about 5 hours 1hr each per rear or so. 45 minutes driver front, 2 hours passenger front.
