Cough.

I also believe he stated that he owned an SVT before the RSX. I am not agreeing or disagreeing with what he has said; but he has owned the cars.
My baaaaddddd! You don't have to go to the Honda dealership now, you've already been there.

Yeah I already went there. I'm not over hyping anything, maybe a little excited to finally own a car with aftermarket support. But the 'exclusiveness' of the SVT is no longer there, by owning the RSX. Oh well. As far as the Greddy E-manage that seems to be working better than re-flashing the stock ecu.
By the way don't get so freakin angry, its just disscussion. They are two different class of cars. Shoot, if we wanted fast cars that responds to mods lets all go by 5.0's and Camaro SS' . My opinion, exterior looks, the SVT is pimp and much better looking. I like the interior of the RSX-S better. The more I own the RSX the more I expect to see a 20 something year old girl driving it.. heh heh. My girlfriend drives it all the time. Now, you want pimp, my 87 Daytona Shelby Z.. oohhhh yeahhhh. Just crank up the Lynard Skynard and cruise...

I have always thought the RSX is a good car, but you just pressed my button I guess. You are right. I overreacted. Sorry.

Thing that sucks about owning either car, is that they're both SLOW! Big deal! So you did all the bolt-ons, and you're lucky to break into the 14's? Low-to-mid level cars today are WAAAY faster than either. Crap, my old 5 liter ate everything thrown at it for lunch (except two C5's), and it was *barely* modified. The power response and punch on that thing was awesome.
Sad truth? The Neon SRT-4 would beat it. As it will probably beat the current generation Mustang GT.
Who wants to talk about a boring 15-sec quarter? Or a 14? How about 13's? 12's? 10's!!!. Geez... For all the money we dump into our cars, they're still just commuters with a bit of pep. I can enjoy the light peppiness of my car, but never should I make the mistake of thinking it's fast.
In that sense, to talk of a CSVT destroying an RSXS, or vice versa is like talking about two fat kids running a marathon... who cares? Bah...
I think I should flip this car and get back into something with some power!
V8 power baby...

i drove my lx in the snow many of times when it was in the low 13's(it was my daily driver)did just fine,if you know how to drive(2nd gear starts)no problems whatsoever....
and it actually got decent mileage too....alot better mileage than most of these d!!kheads in suburbans and tahoes get....so i'm not really seeing a point at all to your post....
and now its in the 12's and could still be a comfortable daily driver, but now it is retired to weekend fun...and what fun it is....damn i just love ripping all the ricers a new a$$hole in it(including ANY rsx that has dared challenge me)i've beat several turboed, and nitroused hondas, nissans etc.....and it just has bolt ons no artificial aspiration.....
new,new ride!

Sounds like a cool car. But let me tell you, I will make this car fast eventually. It is already fast to me. The average RSX has no chance against it now anyway, but the modded ones are hell, modded...who can say. I like v8 cars, but they have dominated so long that its fun to take a 4 or 6 banger and knock out a firebird or mustang. Those cars rule the street and the strip most of the time which is why they are hated on so much by everyone else. It's just human nature. Hondas are almost in the same boat now and the reason there is so much competition.
I stick with what I said about my car, the rsx and whatever else. I like what I drive or I'd drive something else.
