Wow!! I got so used to leaving the clutch down for an extra second that its like I have to learn to drive all over again. DO IT!! Makes a HUGE difference. Now for the nit-piks:
Do I feel a slightly more sluggish rev? It may just be my imagination, but I feel like I am experiencing what is usually described with the DMD??? The revs feel much smoother (seriously!), and it doesn't seem as willing to kick when I floor it. The engine roars, and it pulls decent, but it seems to have lost some of its go? I used a 3/16 hole; idle was stable right from the get-go. In the how-to article it mentions mid-range power loss. I seem to remember this theory being de-bunked before on the boards tho??
Either way, a well spent 5 min, and $.29!

I did this TH fix too. My engine was too willing to run before & now it is much more controlable - I like it. I did not notice a power loss at that time. I did note that I might have a slight power loss after I put a new TSS in my automatic tranny. Revs don't seem to build as quickly.

Maybe its just me...

Must be that jumbly-wumbly thing happening again.
