Just changed water pump and thermostat in my 2000 SVT. The Thermostat that came out said it was a 188 degree. I replaced it with a 180 which I checked before I put it in and it opened a little hotter than that. I don't think the 8 degrees is going to make that much of a diffrence. Got a 192 -195 for my wifes mystique for when I do that system.
