I don't know if every city is going to get it...but i sure hope san diego does...cuz that's where I'd go to see it!
The Rueben H. Fleet Center is supposed to get it, but not at the same time as it comes out in theaters. I guess I'll just have to see it twice

Are you forreal?! I mean to each his own but you are the first person I have ever heard that didn't like it... everyone I know or I have heard comment about the movie absolutely LOVED it.. including myself
The 2nd one should be better than the first if it follows true to form about trilogys+... I am excited about the car chase scene when they are going against freeway traffic on the motorcyle

Personally, I cant wait to see the movie.
But after checking out the website for the coming Matrix Online video game, I was quite disappointed by something I read:
"Plot lines by the creators of the Matrix that continue the Matrix story where the movie trilogy leaves off."
Maybe I'm reading into it too much. But it sounds to me like they just gave away the ending. They might as well just say "The humans loose!".

i've heard that the video game gives you ALOT more insight into the movies, and that there is alot to be learned by playing it... but then again, there is no spoon...

Anyway, I'm with Perry, I didn't like the movie at all. However I will be going to this one if only for one reason : Carrie-Anne Moss .... in form fitting leather ...... on a big screen.

I've really enjoyed the Matrix and am looking forward to the next two. The whole "we're the cause of our own demise" premise, the parallels between humans/machines in that world and humans/corporations in this, the spiritual/mythological aspects...
...if they don't pull a George Lucas here and keep the same level of stunts, hi-quality CGI and an engaging storyline (a good script is the MOST important thing), it's going to rock. I'm a little down on certain actors (Reeves), but Fishburne's presence more than makes up for the deadpan abilities that Keanu Reeves has. Fishburne is quite simply a bada$$ and a joy to watch acting.
In short, this series should have something for everyone in it: script, action, dialogue, stunts, CGI; the whole 9 yards.
I've been a fan of Wo Ping's "wire-fu" movies for years, so this was just a natural progression for me into the mainstream with his talents. As great as the Matrix is with stunts, I still count "Iron Monkey" my favorite that bears the mark of his stunt choreography. It is his masterpiece, in my mind. If anyone is into the Matrix for the stunts and likes Kung-Fu flicks, you ABSOLUTELY have to check out Iron Monkey. Great stuff!
