Well, let's see if anyone else is having as bad a day I am...

There's something totally screwed with the DV tape I used to shoot the dyno pull, so I've no clue as to how much (if any) of it is salvageable. Sound breaks up like mad, I get grey blocks running through the video, etc. I'm taking it to a vid shop this weekend to see if I can't get the tape copied to another one or if someone can do some "magic" on it.

That's not the bad news. The bad news is that just before the dyno video I shot, that same tape contains over 45 minutes of a wedding video for a VERY close friend. I spent just under an hour setting up the lighting, positioning and sound for this thing, so it wasn't like I was doing a handycam shoot. It was high-quality stuff and it looks like it's lost along with the dyno pull...

I know it's the [censored] tape as I've tested a few other tapes out and they view just fine.

I'm about sick, as I was the only one shooting video there and this was going to be a wedding gift for them.

In short, it looks like I'll have the Contour folks and some good friends ready to hang me up by my sac...

Here's to hoping I can get this damn tape fixed.

Rick,

I'll mail out the pics to you, for what they are worth. I've seen them and they did come out decent.
