He called me last night with more tales of the SC'ed 3L beast...
Bad news: Apparently, the car was building HP a little to quickly for the new heavy duty clutch and they couldn't get it to hold. It would break free at about 4,000-4,500 RPMs, then the engine would bounce off of the rev limiter a few times before he could let off. No apparent damage and everything else seems to be functioning properly.
Good news: Ford Chips guys will be programming the car at the Ford 100 Years celebration after Rick gets a chance to either break in the new clutch a little better, or replace it with another new one. More good news is that the car was making around 240+ HP and I don't remember the TQ when the clutch let go at those low RPMs IIRC from what Rick said. Should have no problem reaching his goals of 300+ at the wheels with the intercooler in place and a nice sticky clutch.
