Auiotour, you might want to read from the question down.
Hector's answer, while not complete enough for your tastes, answers the question exactly.
The question was "How fast does a Contour go with a chip?" (sic), so why would Hector have to say that "I've gone 140 MPH with a chip."
The question asked "with a chip", so whatever number someone answers with is automatically implied to be the speed one has reached with a chip.
I think LoCoZ2.0, having 4500+ posts here and being probably one of the better known posters, and certainly most frequent, doesn't have to "verify his credibility" or whatever crap you're talking about. And, you, having 1000+ posts should definently know him, his reputation, his car, and likely his mods.
And anyone who wanted to could simply have clicked on his link and seen that he had SVT gauges, and again, having a chip was implied by the very question. It would be pretty stupid to explain that he had a chip when that's what the question was asking.
If someone asks "What color are your eyes?" you generally respond with just "Blue" (or whatever), not "My eyes are blue". Both are correct, but complete sentence responses are considered awkward and hardly used in English. You simply answer the question, and perhaps explain any differences in what they asked and your reponse. Hence why Hector mentioned he had a Zetec, because Duratec was the original question.
And, BTW, you're getting yourself confused thinking 2 or 3 people are the same person or something. Because you're combining a couple people's comments as coming from the same person.
