MJ was a minority interest owner in the team but per NBA rules you can not be a owner and a player. Conflict of Interest.
So 2yrs ago he sold his stake with the understanding he could buy it back if he wanted too. Now that MJ has retired he was expected to be given the GM duty for the Wiz. but the owner decided not to bring him back.
MJ needs to practice his golf game and enjoy retirment. No more NBA duty for him for about 10yrs. He needs to let the competetiveness go and learn to enjoy life. I expect we will see him on the PGA Tour.
He will most liekly end up being the GM of the new Charlotte franchise as he is good buddies with the owner.
