I really didnt want anything that would stick out further than the splitter, that's why we made it flush w/ the lower lip. I really didn't want to rip the whole thing off, especially living in PA w/ all the hills!! I still have the template and am thinking about making a few more...not only for myself, but for those who need some as well. I'll try to fit as many as I can on one 4x10 sheet of aluminum, since its not my aluminum, it my pop's.
