My friend hydrolocked his engine when driving thru a puddle and had a CAI with the filter in a simmilar place... Be careful! AEM(?) makes a small bypass adapter that you can put on pre-booster that will let air in if the filter becomes very restricted (i.e. submerged in a puddle). It cost only $40 and it could have saved him $2300 in a new engine... Of course he has one now!
