ehayden71 Member E Joined: Oct 2001 Posts: 59 Streamwood, IL	i have a '97 LX v-6, had the a/c fixed by Ford... they said it will only cool to 20 degrees below outside temp. then i had it re-fixed by my mechanic... who i trust... he told me the same thing for these cars. i could buy a larger unit but i figure if i want cold i will just drive the wifes car... if i want fast i will drive mine with the windows down. tim. '97 Contour LX 2.5L V6 PFI 24V DOHC no mods as of yet, but they're coming.
