I think we might attempt this swap...my brother's Zetec popped that piston and we had planned on just dropping in another Zetec, but this looks like a fun project. Might just have to wait till the wallet recovers from the 3.0 project first ...

Well 1's going on the tbird, 1 needs rebuilt(read thrown away), 1 is much too big for a zetec(read not even full boost @ 6500rpm). Sorry

But I just found this...the big turbo wouldn't be too big for this...maybe we'll do this with the contour .

That's the 1000hp 2.3L mazdaspeed drag car .

I'd like to, but I'm sorta poor right now and it would take alot of head work and a header just to get enough exhaust energy to spin the damn thing. Plus the tbird is my daily driver, I'm not shure how streetable a car is that has 100hp from 1000rpm to 4500rpm then immediately jumps straight up to 350+...It would make dry pavement seem like ice .
