HEllo everyone, i have a question. And it has to do with a GS-T Eclipse. My friend owns one and has done a lot of mods to it. He upgraded the turbo in it im pretty sure of, he has boost control? catback exhaust, intake, and im not sure of what else, maybe he has a chip? but thats all i know of so far. I own a 1999 SVT Contour, with some new flowmasters, intake, shortshifter, and thats it. I was wondering if he would waste me? would it be a close race? could i beat him? Please give me some feed back on this!

Maybe if you two ran the 1/4 and he allowed you to start at the 1/8 mark you would be close......

You can get the dsm turbos to do 13s with very little mods to the stock turbo. I think he would demolish you.

Ha. If he was completely stock with a suitcase in the trunk, and you pulled every extra ounce of weight out of your car AND you drive very good you might be close.

Hey, you know what? Anything is possible. Realistically, you should get spanked pretty good. But you could pull it out. Perhaps I'm being a little optimistic. Run him hard and drive well. But I wouldn't expect a win this time. Or a tie. Or a couple buslengths. Train length or two maybe?  -R-
