Ah ha! Once I have a crank pulley remover I can fully tear down my engine

I had it torn down as far as I could go yesterday. I've been getting a bunch of parts, so hopefully I can have this 2.5L ready by the time the transmission is done.
I am going to have the crank machined just to play it safe. I'm also going to have the block dipped and take care of any possible machine work now. Then the crank, rods, pistons, flywheel and a new pressure plate are off for cryo treatment
I think rather then a 3L later on, I'll be getting a turbo instead. With that in mind, 3L valves are going into the heads along with ARP main and head studs are being added to the "Things to get" list this month. Apexi SAFC II, Pro-M MAF, Koni's w/DZ -1.8" springs, fresh bushings all around and slotted rotors and new pads will also go on the list now the 3L project is abandoned

All of that teamed with a fresh transmission from HMS to top it all off.
I'll be pretty busy in the next month or so
