Riiiiight... Static, considering what actually went down, I don't blame you one bit for not coming back until school starts in august. But don't let that keep ya away.

Soooo. onto other business... An area still needs to be decided and right now, I the sulphur idea has died. It's only fun for about oh, maybe all of 2 hrs... Umm beaver's bend and red rock are in the mix now, w/ beaver's bend being about an equal drive for almost everyone. Something like that we might try and make a weekend out of it and *omg... camp* <---- what's that?!?! LOL I think most ppl i've talked to would like some good pic spots too. On the other hand, how many ppl would ACTUALLY show up to any event regardless of area?? mod day near someone's house... that's fine, but who's gonna allow a plethera of ppl to merge on one house? I don't care... you ppl decide. something has to be done, only week and a half left and i know there are some that will need advance notice as to what's going on...

I think red rock would be good. Do you have to have your own repelling gear. I so want to repell there.

There is also romoan nose. There is all sorts of [censored] to do there.

Anywhere is fine. I guess only a select few are ok with it being anywhere. You say a place, and ill be there.

Realistically, I can't make a weekend out of it, I'm lucky to get one day off. I wouldn't mind camping, and if it weren't for the kids, my wife would probably be up for that too, but our youngest is still too little for that (4 months).

I can still make it for 1 day as long as it's not too bad a drive. So far, from a distance standpoint, all of the mentioned options look OK, (except maybe Roman Nose). Since I've never been to any of these places, I don't really have a preference.

Ok ill make a suugestion. Grove OK(on grand lake) on one of the weekends they have there cruise nights.(alot of cars classics and everthing else crusing around) there you have bars, resorts, movie theaters, hotels, the lake and bunch of things. Plus a cruise night where can show your stuff off and not get a ticket. plus plenty of Photo ops in many diffrent areas.

Kaw Lake has a lot to offer in the way of recreation...camping, fishing, beaches, a water park nearby, etc.

Just my .02

motor scooter??? that is a bit of an understatement dont you think there tim? I am ok with the lake I guess... rylee44 would actually prolly go also... but it really depends on when it is... I am working 40 weeks now so just depends on when it is and whats going on... as for making a weekend out of the whole thing I doubt I will do that simply cause it cost a lot
