The factory manuals are better, but on the oil pan gasket replacement my 96 Factory manual says to use a three bar engine support. It's not needed. Thats what's great about this site, some one always seems to know a better way. There is a link on a oil pan gasket replacement under Duratec Maintainance, go back to 4/20/03. Start soaking your exhaust bolts with some penetrating oil. Could be the hardest part of the job, removing the Y-pipe at the converter junction.
