OK, I got my engine codes read.

1132 - Lack of HO2S Switch - Indicates Rich
1152 - Lack of H2OS21 Switch - Indicates Rich
172 - System too Rich - Bank 1

So it looks like I'm running a little rich as we all expected.

That could definitely be a bad calibration.

If the Pro-M Calibration is not pulling fuel it's BAD!!!

What kind of gains(if any)would there be if I purchased the Pro-M and the only other performance mods I have right now are a intake and removed resonator. I am debating if I should put my money elsewhere first.

Thanks,

O3

Demon, I'll get my flow sheet info posted later tonight and you can take a look at it. The plan is right now for me to head on down there tomorrow since I'm close and have them recalibrate right there in front of my eyes.

This might have been addressed before... but screen or no screen... I will do some searching now too.

Edit: Looks like from a quick search that the screen is a bad idea. Hope that isn't causing all my problems because if it is I might have to join all the tatoo lovers and get stupid put on my forehead.

DO NOT USE the stock MAF screen with the Pro-M!!!

Not only is it a flow restriction in several ways but the Pro-M was calibrated to read correctly without it.

Even with that said I'd still bet they calibrated your MAF the richen up the mixture (when will they EVER learn )

Yeah, I seem to recall there being positive %'s on the flow sheet, but I've been known to misremember something before.

Thanks for the shouting demon.. now maybe I'll remember this time.. hehehe.. j/k.

Weee hah.. leaving work soon.. taking off the screen and we'll see if that makes it better at least.

This might be nothing, but when I installed my Pro-M, the engine stalled frequently and hunted constantly. After sitting a straight edge over the flange face, I noted it was slightly bent, probably warped during the welding. I fitted a 1/16" thick cork gasket (home made), the problem is now solved and the car runs superb, although my consumption is down a few MPG , still....can't have it both ways.

Is your meter made for 17 or 19lb injectors?

they say its done for 17, I told them 3 times the first time and twice the second. The second time I sent in the MAF I wrote in big letters that they should calibrate it for a 1999 Contour SE DOHC Duratec V6 with 17lb injectors. I also told them that I do NOT own an SVT nor do I have 19 lb injectors.
