Well I installed my new intake set-up. I am very pleased. The car intake just sounds awesome. The engine just screams now. The engine revs and drops revs much faster. Wish I would've had this stuff for the dyno last weekend.

It's not idling perfect, but I think that's probably just the computer figuring things out. It got better over the 1/2 hour I idled it and test drove it and messed around with it.

Overall... 2 Thumbs up.. now I wish I could get my A/F ratio.

Hopefully I don't get and CEL's tomorrow.

What was your MAF's calibration?

I hope for your sake you calibration isn't messed up, but mine is royally
I've gotta wait until the car goes away this winter and send both the stock MAF and the Pro Flow unit so the latter can be re-calibrated...
The things I do for power....

EDIT:
What MAF adaptor are you using?

Oh yeah, my MAF calibration is way off.

I know the gas guage isn't very accurate but I used almost a 1/4 tank of gas on the 35 mile trip to work this morning and it stalls if I'm coasting. Since I'm in michigan I might just drive down to Pro-M tomorrow and have them calibrate my meter right there.

I'm using the duratecperformance.com MAF adapter. Turns out it's kind of small so it might not be the best but I squeezed the filter on there. I'll have to check for air leaks tonight just to make sure. I get like this higer pitched rushing air sound that I thought as just the filter, but I'm gonna double check.

I measured it and I recall it being like 3 1/4 or so. The filter mouth on my K&N was probably a 1/4" bigger so I guess that makes since since I believe it's supposed to be a 3.5" mouth filter.

Don't quote me on the measurements.. I just know the filter mouth was a decent amount larger.

Actually..the K&N 3530 is a 3.75 mouth...at least according to their website... 3-3/4 x 5-3/8 x 4-3/8 x 7 (cause it tapers...)

Ahhh.. hence the reason I didn't want to be quoted.. Hah.

I dunno, maybe I just misremembered the MAF adapter measurement that I did. The opening is the same size as the inside of the MAF so it's not like it's a real restriction or anything.

No problem... I'm just trying to explain it out. Not feeling insulted or one-up'ed so don't worry about it.

Demon? any more input.
