How would replacing the cabin air filter help? I've never replaced it and we've had lots of airborne stuff here in CO this year- pollen and ash.

The cabin air filter is replaced by first removing the black cowl panel located under the passanger side wiper. Pop off the trim caps and remove the two screws. Then open the hood and remove 3 more screws. You can now remove the cowl along with the rubber seal clipped onto it. Once this is done you can access the filter.

Is anyone else haveing this prob??? I have the same problem with mine. Its not coming from the engine I think it has to do with a flapper within the heating system. If it be vaccum or what not I don't know but it is definetely coming from the air plenum behind the cup holders. Settings are on cold with the blower off and other control is on off to. It could be the little vaccum canister hanging on the left side still letting air to to go through the heat side. I would like to find and explantion. The hair is about to melt off my legs.
