the battery is sideways cause it did put a outie dent on my hood so i turned it on its side after it was all painted, hay why not it can be. oh and the filter thing i dont know if it matters but it has no cotton or anythin its just a very tight screen with no restrictions so i think it gets all the air it wants. i may be wrong though.
