I know for sure there was no recall done for my tour... I have checked with the dealership for all my recall work and they said that I have all of them done already.
Ok, so the throttle body is sticking I understand. But check this out: I took my car to the college for the shop guys to fix this dang misfire thing I just can't get rid of... they didn't find the misfire but changed my oil and he said he cleaned the TB because there was a lot of ?tar? in it.
Well, I found out that FORD puts a gel type substance on the TBs to prevent this sticking and because this guy cleaned it, there is no more gel on it.... They said that I would have to continuously spray carb cleaner in it to keep the sticking down to a minimum or buy a new TB... morons dang
