I got a second opinion on a trans problem. The trans shop said they have never seen a mlsps code 707 caused by just the sensor. I was told the torque converter is probably bad, and from there you might as well have the trans rebuilt (around $2500.000). The question now is what other major repairs usually occur (timming belt etc.), after 95k miles on a 96 2.5L. I had the water pump replaced around 90k miles. I`m faced with a repair or sell situation.
