mine was out of a 94 626 and i don't think that its swappable. when rebuilt make sure you replace the forward drum for sure and add a shift kit from transgo its about 30 bucks. the rebuild wasn't too bad it didn't take very long either, took longer to take it out then to rebuild it. the last thing is to add an external tranny cooler. a big one. these transmissions are plagued by high temps and high line pressure, the forward drum fails b/c of the high line pressure so that has to be replaced. the shift kit corrects the high line pressure. and of course the cooler lowers the temps of the fluid. any more questions let me know.
