I've tried the e-Brake launch. Didn't particularily care for it. I think it takes too much time to drop it with your hand even with the button already pressed in and ready to go.

IMHO, the trick to safe launching is to partially engage the clutch without moving forward. But using the e-Brake is really not necessary to accomplish this. It is super tricky to do though, and I have far from accomplished this, but I think just more practice will help. I try to keep the RPMs at 3.5K with the clutch just trying to catch fully, then just dump it all. But my times are worse than everyone elses, so what do it know!
