I dont remember having this kind of problem launching my 96 SE MTX, but my 00 SVT (with a quaife) has serious wheelhop issues on an agressive takeoff.

I have been testing it with a tazzo (which is like a g-tech, except it has two accelerometers and is self-leveling unlike a Gtech), and I found that every once in a while I stick on the launch and get tire spin instead of wheelhop. Further testing showed that I can get a pretty consistant 2.29 60' if I launch with the front wheels skewed just off center a little bit (ie pointed slighty to one side) -- it seems to help with the weight transfer/distribution a bit. Has anyone else noticed this or tried this? Im going to try and get it to the track amd see if it really works, but it definately seems to work from stoplight to stoplight. I can dump about 2500 into it and stick pretty good.
