I recently tried the tranny "cocktail" and it didn't seem to improve the shifting at all. I just bought 3 quarts of Amsoil series 2000 75W90 to try. I'll let you know how it works. I've been using their 20W50 for motorcycles for some time in my aircraft and I can say it definatly quieted the gearbox down from the previous oil we used.
